How do I reserve equipment?
This article was created to guide users on how to reserve equipment in the SMART Labs system.
Prerequisites to reserve equipment
You must be an existing SMART Labs User
You must already be added onto a project
You must be trained in the SMART Labs System on the desired piece of equipment
The equipment must must be labeled as ACTIVE on the SMART Labs System
Instructions
From the home screen, click on the area in red to open the drop-down list.
Select the equipment you are wanting to reserve. Only equipment you have been trained on will be listed in this area.
Click on the “Select Project” field to open the drop-down list.
Only projects you are active in can be listed. Select the project the equipment use will apply to. To learn how to join a project or create one click here.
After you have chosen your timeslot please add additional comments for yourself to reference in the future. Attendees can be added if needed. Click “Create Reservation” when finished.
