How do I get trained on equipment?

This article explains the process on requesting training on equipment in the SMART Labs System.

If you have already been trained on equipment and need to be flagged on the system make a request in the system and add as many details as possible.

 Instructions

  1. Click on the “Requests” Tab

     

  2. Fill out a title, a project it will be used for and select the request type as “Equipment Training”

     

  3. Select the equipment you wished to be trained on.

  4. Enter information that may prove useful prior to training.

  5. Click on “Create Request”

     

  6. Your request has now been submitted. A trainer will be in contact with you in 1-3 days about a session.
