Welcome to the SMART Labs!
The SMART Network is home to over 100 pieces of specialized equipment and tools that are open for groups and individuals to use after being trained by skilled members of our team. SMART Labs was created to make it easier to access the equipment and tools from the many facilities of the SMART Network by bringing everything together in one place. What makes the SMART Labs unique is the access to multidisciplinary tooling in the same facility.

How do I get my team/group started in SMART Labs?
The first step will be for the person with financial authority in the group typically a PI or a manager to create a LMACS (Laboratory Management Access Control System) account. This can be done through the portal here. This person shall be known as the group owner. At the same time all expected users from the group should register through the same portal.
Once the group owner and users have registered into the LMACS system, the group owner will need to submit a group/project creation forum. A group and project will be created within 1-2 business days.
